If I were you I would go for Amarr recons. Solid ships, good for fleet and solo work. But it would help to improve your Drone skills a bit as well.

Get a Nightmare. With Tachyons and 1x TE and 1x TC and 5% tracking implant I can hit cruisers orbiting at 7-8km without any issues.

Amarr have some very good mission running ships: Nightmare, Paladin, Abaddon, (Navy) Apocalypse. But if you fly Amarr ships it's good to do missions in Amarr space, since you will get a lot of missions against EM/Thermal weak enemies (Blood raider...
